Dustin Construction has awarded Grounded Electrical Construction the electrical subcontract for the construction of East Middle School in Westminster, MD. Construction of this new 127,510 square foot, 2-story middle school is anticipated to start in August 2021 and be completed in December 2023. The existing East Middle School was opened in 1936 and served as a high school for 35 years, and a middle school for almost 50 years. The new facility is designed to be highly sustainable and contain 6th-8th grade classrooms, special education classrooms, music rooms, media center, cafeteria/multi-purpose room, gymnasium, administrative spaces, parking and playfields.
