Grounded Electrical Construction tapped by Whiting-Turner for Chrysalis Ampitheater at Merriweather

Grounded Electrical Construction is providing Electrical Construction services for the first of the seven-phase development plan by the Inner Arbor Trust, a 5,000 square-foot shell-shaped, outdoor amphitheater called the Chrysalis. It will be made from aluminum and structural steel, and act as a stage, pavilion and sculpture under one structure, with the capacity to hold 400 people.

The Chrysalis will have site lighting, new lighting fixtures, and require the movement of electrical conduits around the stage. Construction is scheduled to begin in two weeks and is scheduled for April 2016 completion.
